Last week I sent an application for a seminar in Budapest, Hungary, with the topic "Beyond Tolerance - Intercultural Solidarity - Vivid Human Rights". Today, when I checked my e-mail inbox, I saw that I'd got an e-mail saying that I was chosen to go to the seminar!
I'm so happy!
I'M GOING TO BUDAPEST!

Plan failed
Yesterday I wrote that I would try to keep my appartment tidy, don't eat as much sugar as I usually do, and go to bed earlier.Guess what.
I don't think I've started yet..:p And if I've started, the plan failed..:p
Last night, I went to meet Sivert, one of my very best friends here at Inderøy. We went to Shell (the gas station), and bought chocolate-easter-eggs, Solo (a soft drink with orange taste), and then walked back to my appartment. We wathced funny clips at YouTube, ate the easter eggs and some carrots, and drank tea and Solo. We started to get tiret, and when we took a look at the clock, we discovered that the clock was 2.30 AM...so we decided to go to bed.
We stopped talking at 3, and at 8 we got out of bed and made ourself ready for school.
I'm kind of tired now, and I'm actually going to bed pretty soon..But first I'm going to eat a carrot or two.
So I guess my new and healthy lifestyle starts...now.

Promises for a better life

It has been a month since I wrote last time, and that is way too long. I'm going to try to write more often now, I promise!
This weekend I have decided to become more healthy. I'm not going to eat/drink so much sugar that I do, and I'm going to eat more vegetables and fruit - and I'm also going to swich some of the bread I'm eating with crispbread.
Healthyer.
I'm also going to go to bed earlier than I usually do (because I don't really sleep much), I'm going to do my homework earlier than the night before I have to hand them in, and I'm going to try to keep my appartment tidy.
Wish me good luck.
I'm going to need it..

I don't understand
I don't understand how people can live with themselves when all they do is lying to their friends, hurting their feelings, disappoint people just to make them sad. I don't understand how anyone can be happy when they are faking everything.
I just don't understand it.
It must be a hard way of living.
I just don't understand it.
It must be a hard way of living.

Dancing in the backyard
"Minor Majority - Dancing in the backyard" is a song I really really really like. Actually, I love it.
The song can be found here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=iWTz3WKEAm4
Lyrics:
She came to me
With that look on her face
There is freedom she says
In changing our ways
I don't believe
In staying the same
Cause I just don't relate
To the things that I say
When there's no one there to correct me
To put me in place
And there's gonna be a dance in the backyard
[CHORUS]
Oh, come with me
Oh, don't be sad when there's a party going on
Come with me, I'll take you
Dancing in the backyard
Dancing in the backyard
She's the kind of girl
That'll mess up your head
There is freedom she says
In being mislead
I don't believe
In being myself
Cause I just don't approve
Of the choices I make
When there's no one there to correct me
To put me in place
And there's gonna be a dance in the backyard
[CHORUS]
Oh, come with me
Oh, don't be sad when there's a party going on
Come with me, I'll take you
Dancing in the backyard
Oh, come with me
Oh, don't be sad when there's a party going on
Come with me, I'll take you
Dancing in the backyard
Dancing in the backyard
Dancing in the backyard
Dancing in the backyard
No one there to correct me
To put me in place
And there's gonna be a dance in the backyard
[CHORUS]
Oh, come with me
Oh, don't be sad when there's a party going on
Come with me, I'll take you
Dancing in the backyard
Oh, come with me

Merry Christmas!
So, finally it is Christmas Eve - the day so many of us has been waiting for.
Even though I am an agnostic I was in the church earlier today, and the preast prayed for all those people who dread for the Christmas holidays, for those who are lonely and alone, for those who are afraid, and for those who are hungry and helpless. I started to think about how much money Norwegians spend at bying gifts to each other. We use so much money, bying games, electronics, jewellery, make-up, and a lot of other things that nobody really needs. And then I thought - what if we spent our money on somebody who needs them? What if we gave money to charity or solidarity workers, who would use the money to make the world a little better place to spend a lifetime on? Would not that be better than buying expensive gifts to our family and friends?
I think so.
Next Christmas, I am going to do something good for somebody who needs it, and not only spend money on those who aldready have more that they need!
Why don't you do the same?:)
